winter citrus salad with dates and almonds
whoever said salad is not for winter never paired it with seasonal citrus! we took blood oranges and cara cara oranges, carefully removing the skin of the segments to reveal the juicy centers, and topped our classic baby spring mix with the orange slices, jammy dates and crunchy almonds. drizzled with our bright and sweet lemon agave dressing, this salad will brighten up any table!

Prepared this salad for last night’s dinner as a change to our usual salad with oil and vinegar. Made one with almonds for my husband and another one with walnuts, since I am allergic to almonds. We both loved our salads. The recipe was easy to follow and the salad was very colorful and fun to eat.
